Cons: The real big con here is the age and price of this card.
ATi Radeon X XL AGP Video Card - Reviews, Specifications, and Pictures -
Sorry to say but for its age its rather pricey. What can I saw but that cards tend to become outdated and get outperformed very fast from 1 generation of cards to the next.
Overall Review: Im not tryin to knock on this card, it has certainly served me well, I just wanted to make sure people knew about their alternatives and about what price this card is probably really worth at this point. As always Newegg rocks. This is where ATI's strategy doesn't seem to make much sense. Hardware Sections.

Pros: This is the best video card i have ever had. Can run Need for speed undergroudn 2 ati radeon x800 xl 256m most wanted maxed out at x, no lagg what so ever. It can run Fable, everything maxed out at x Cons: runs a little hot, around 65 C maxed with my room temp around F.
Another benefit of smaller die geometries with an existing GPU design is usually lower power consumption. The 'older' x Pro and XT's were and still are very hard to get as yields are bad. This content requires Adobe Flash PlayerClick here to install.
We are very happy to see that ATi includes all the non-component cables necessary to connect the PC to a television. It is fairly heavy and very big compared to my I was unable to get the card to fit into my AGP slot because my after market Zalman chipset cooler was in the way of the large cooler on the graphics card. It took me a few tries to figure out why I couldn't get the ati radeon x800 xl 256m to go in.
After I realized what was happening, I literally had to break down my entire PC, remove the motherboard from the case and subsequently remove the Zalman chipset cooler so I can remove some of the fins on it to allow the VGA card to fit in the AGP slot. It was a real ati radeon x800 xl 256m getting the Zalman removed, not to mention having to remove the mobo from the case just to get this card to fit, but I finally got everything back together.View full ATI Radeon X XL specs on CNET.
